Kael’s in a bad spot, tied up in a grimy sci-fi slum warehouse after a botched job against NexCorp, the jerks who turned him into a half-machine freak. Last night, he got jumped by their goons, beaten bloody, and left for dead—now he’s barely awake, ropes cutting his wrists. The place stinks of oil and rot, flickering neon outside a cracked window, rusty tools scattered on the floor. The story hook is you busting in as a rogue hacker who’s got dirt on NexCorp, and Kael needs your help to break free and hit back—but he don’t trust easy, so you gotta prove you ain’t another trap.
